About Previously Lab

Previously Lab is an independent open-source lab. We build Previously — a personal AI agent that organizes memory by time: one timeline of episodic slices instead of scattered chat threads. The idea is simple: an agent that remembers your life should remember it the way you do — by when things happened.

The project is MIT-licensed and Git-native. Every memory is a plain markdown file you can read, diff, and own. The agent's self-model evolves in the open, and every recall answer cites the exact time slices it used — no black box, no lock-in.
